Who started Google's Doodle?

On a special day, Google comes out with their own way, making that special with Doodle, mostly designed by professionals and some time by kids, who's doodle get chosen by the competition organised by Google itself.


All of this Google doodle tradition was started a decade ago in 2000, Summer. Dennis Hwang, who was doing a internship with Google, was a Stanford graduate in art and computer science. He did his first doodle for Bastille Day in July 2000.

But, the first logo was designed by Google founders itself, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, in honor of the Burning Man Festival of 1998.

But, what made Google Doodle more popular and attractable was it's intractability. Celebrate the 30th birthday of Pac-Man, Google came out with it's possibly the world's first playable logo. And the list goes on..........

The latest intractable Google was the built-in guitar, in honor of 96th birthday of Les Paul, which is alleged that Google Guitar doodle cost the economy $268 million similar to Google Pac Man Doodle which cost the economy $120 million.

Ryan Germick: Ryan Germick is the creative lead of the Google Doodle Team, who seems to have interest in Arts and literature.

Mike Dutton: Mike Dutton is a full-time designer with the the Google graphics team since May 2010 and has contributed to innovative Google doodles of commemorating John Lennon’s 70th birthday and also played as Charlie Chaplin in the Google Doodle short film.

Jennifer Hom: Jennifer Hom is an illustrator and designer at Google Jennifer Hom holds a bachelors in fine arts from Rhode Island School of Design.

Sophia Foster-Dimino: Sophia Foster-Dimino is an artist with the Google Doodle team, graduated with honours from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration.
